The Harmony Villa

The Harmony Villa is a villa in the Nguyễn Văn Hưởng compound in Thảo Điền, an established villa district in Ho Chi Minh City. The pieces were finished in colours, materials and dimensions entirely according to the design. The most unusual piece in the project is the desk, whose curved metal legs were designed with champagne gold metal on the inside and black on the outside. Metal cannot by nature be plated on two faces in two different colours, so Amy used black cowhide to wrap the outer face of the legs, keeping the piece true to the design while improving how it looks in person.
